How It Works

From feasibility study to your target database

Every engagement starts by checking what the public record can confirm for your criteria. Then we build a database for you alone: every company we can find in public sources that fits, with only the fields you asked for.

How an engagement runs

Four steps. The second one is what makes the database fit your criteria instead of a generic list.

01

Your criteria

You tell us what you buy: the markets, the size range, the hard filters and the details you want for each company. We turn each criterion into public signals we can check.

02

Feasibility study

Before we build anything, we check what the public record holds for your criteria, state by state. You see which signals exist and which criteria we can apply with confidence. If the data for a criterion is thin, you hear it here, not after delivery.

03

Your database

We build a proprietary database for you alone: every company we can find that fits, one row each, with only the fields you asked for. Revenue comes as a range with a confidence level. If a company misses the agreed criteria, we fix or replace it.

04

Refresh

Owners sell, new operators grow into your range, others close. On the schedule you choose, we re-check the database and show you what changed: who was acquired, who is new, who now fits.

We only do the research. We don't contact owners, and there is no success fee. Your criteria stay private, an NDA is available on request, and lists built for you are not resold.

How we know

One data point rarely says much. When four or five line up, the read holds.

A license shows a company exists. A benefit-plan filing shows roughly how many people it employs. Job ads show whether it is hiring. Permits and public contracts show how much work it wins. Read alone, each one can mislead.

When several independent signals point the same way, we can make the call with confidence: this company fits your criteria, its revenue sits in this range, this person owns it. Where the signals conflict or run thin, we mark the call as lower confidence instead of guessing. The more signals we can cross-check, the tighter the estimate gets.

More on sizing in our guide to private company revenue estimation.

What a feasibility study shows

The same criterion can be easy to confirm in one state and hard in the next. That is why every engagement starts here.

Frequently asked

What is a feasibility study?

It is the check we run before we build anything. For each of your criteria, in each market, we look at what the public record can confirm. You see which criteria we can apply with confidence and where the data is thin, before you commit to the full database.

How do you estimate revenue for a private company?

No public record lists it, so we work it out from several independent signals, such as headcount, license class, fleet and work volume. When they point the same way, we give a revenue range with a confidence level. It is an estimate, never an audited figure.

Do you contact the owners?

No. We only do the research. Your team owns the outreach and the relationships, and there is no success fee.

Is my list shared with anyone else?

No. Your criteria stay private, an NDA is available on request, and lists built for you are not resold.

What happens if a company misses the agreed criteria?

Reworks are included. If a company in your database misses the criteria we agreed, we fix or replace it.

How quickly do you reply?
